How the Community Calendar works
The links listed in the explanations below do not work and are for example purposes only.
• Using the month headings to navigate the calendars
For example, using the above month headings, clicking on [< March] will display the previous two calendar months, in this case it would display February and March. Clicking on the [June >] will display the next two months, in this case it would display June and July.
Using either of these two links also will display listings under the
calendar, starting at the first day of the month. For example, clicking
on the [June >] will display the months of June and July. Under the calendar will be shown show seven days of listings starting with June 1.
• Using the calendars
Below is the first week in April, the other weeks have been excluded from this example.
The blocks that have no number like the ones under Sunday, Monday,
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are from the previous month and are not
displayed.
Friday, April 1, is underlined along with being a slightly different
color than Saturday, April 2. This is because in our example Friday,
April 1, has one or more calendar listings. By clicking on that block
in the calendar, listings will be displayed starting at Friday, April
1.
In this example on Saturday, April 2, is not underlined
or in a different color because there are no listings on that day in
April.
However, by clicking on Friday, April 1 in the
example, the next seven days will be displayed, even if they contain no
listings.
• Using the Jump-to
The following box is located just below the calendar on the left side.

The date entered in to the Jump-to box provides a quick way to go to a
specified date. For example, by entering 01/01/2006 and pressing the
[GO] link, the page would display the January and February calendars
and list the first seven days of listings starting with Jan. 1
Javascript has to be enabled for the date Jump-to function to work.
• Saved listings
By clicking the [View Saved Listings] link, located just under the Jump-to date box, any saved listings will be displayed.
How to save listings is explained on down in this page.
The only different links on the Saved Listing page, are [Print List] and [E-mail List]. These two links allow for the saved list to be printed or e-mailed. There is also a [ Back to Calendar] link that returns to the calendar listings page.
The only other noteable difference in the Saved Listing page is all
dates scheduled for a given calendar listing also are displayed.
• Next and Previous
The [Next 7 days >] and [< previous 7 days] are located just after the seven days of calendar listings.
Click on the [Next 7 days >] link to view the next set of listings.
Click on the [< previous 7 days] link to view the previous set of listings.
• Calendar Listings Sub Menu
By clicking on the [ Save] link, the calendar listing will will be added to the Saved Listings page. To save listings, cookies have to be enabled.
By clicking on the [ E-Mail]
link, the calendar item will be displayed in a popup form allowing it
to be sent to the address specified. Javascript has to be enabled for
the popup to launch.
By clicking on the [ Print] link, the calendar item will be displayed in a popup window. Javascript has to be enabled for the popup to launch.
Clicking on the [ Top] link returns to the top of the current page.
