PALM HARBOR - Three talented local photographers, Patti Krumeich, Sherry Williamson and Susan Knodle, will be displaying their photographic art for the month of May at the East Lake Community Library in Palm Harbor.
A variety of themes and photographic techniques will be displayed.
Williamson’s love of nature and travel are reflected in her work. She also enjoys creating regional and urban work extending throughout Florida. Her works include photographic prints on canvas media.
Nature, wildlife and scenery are where Krumeich’s photographic passion revolves. She attempts to capture the “spirit” of her subjects and does so using digital painting methods. This gives her photos an artistic digital effect.
Knodle’s favorite type of photography is HDR, short for high dynamic range. This produces a different “look and feel” and makes the colors vivid while accenting small details within a photo.
All three photographers are members of local meet-up photography groups and two are members of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals. They have displayed their art in local art galleries, libraries and community centers. Each of them has had their photos featured in an application for the iPad called “Puzzle Falls. ”
A “Meet the Artist” reception is Thursday, May 3, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the East Lake Library, located at 4125 East Lake Road, Palm Harbor.
