Children’s art exhibit at Clearwater Main Library

CLEARWATER – The Clearwater Main Library is hosting a youth art exhibit from the Osceola, Carnegie and Youth Services Galleries. The exhibit will run through Aug. 29.
Students from Pinellas County schools and other organizations created banners for the children’s art component of Convergence 2008 in Tampa. More than 40 banners were submitted, using a variety of textile mediums ranging from woven surveyor’s tape and grape leaves to hand-dyed silk.
Library and exhibit hours are: Monday through Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Thursday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, 1 to 5 p.m.
