James Bond (Daniel Craig) in pursuit of an Mi6 traitor.
The 22nd spy film in the James Bond series is the sequel of the series reboot, “Casino Royale,” which introduced fans to Daniel Craig’s depiction of the famous character – an incarnation that many claim is the most faithful to Ian Fleming’s novels.

Picking up where “Casino Royale” left off, “Quantum of Solace” has Bond, betrayed by his lover Vesper, trying not to make his new assignment a mission of personal vendetta. Determined to uncover the truth, 007 and M (Judi Dench) interrogate Mr. White (Jesper Christensen) to learn more about the organization that blackmailed Vesper.

Combining White’s information with forensic intelligence on an Mi6 traitor, Bond follows the trail to Haiti and beyond, through Austria, Italy and South America, as he tracks Dominic Greene (Mathieu Amalric), a ruthless businessman linked to the organization.

“Quantum of Solace” director Marc Forster has been behind a string of critically acclaimed hits, including 2007’s “The Kite Runner,” based on Khaled Hosseini’s bestselling novel. His filmography includes “Monster’s Ball,” “Finding Neverland,” “Stay” and “Stranger Than Fiction.”

"Quantum of Solace" is scheduled to open in North American in November.
