Eight O’Clock presents ‘Proof’

LARGO – Eight O’Clock Theatre opens its 2008-09 season with its production of “Proof,” running Friday, Sept. 12 through Sunday, Sept. 21, at the Largo Cultural Center, 105 Central Park Drive.
Performances will be Thursday through Saturday, 8 p.m. Matinees will be Sunday, 2 p.m.
David Auburn's “Proof” is one of the most celebrated plays on Broadway in recent years, winning both the Tony Award for Best Play and the Pulitzer Prize in drama for 2001.
The play combines the elements of mystery and suspense with old-fashioned story-telling.
Tickets are $21 adults, $16 age 19 and younger with identification. Call 587-6793.
Eight O'clock Theatre is an award-winning theater group sponsored by Partners N Progress for the Arts in cooperation with the city of Largo.
