Pirates prepare to invade John’s Pass Village – again

MADEIRA BEACH – The seventh annual John Levique Pirate Days will be Friday through Sunday, June 6 through 8, at John’s Pass Village, 12901 Village Blvd.

Sponsored by the John’s Pass Village Association, the city of Madeira Beach, the St. Petersburg Times, Bright House Networks and 102.5 The Bone, this event will celebrate the discovery of John’s Pass while helping residents prepare for hurricane season. Three pirate-themed days will feature free family fun with proceeds benefiting the Fisherman Lost at Sea Fund.

Scheduled activities include the Pirates Ball and adults’ costume contest, Bike and Bone show, pirate-themed vendors, Hurricane Awareness Area, treasure hunt, Flotilla Invasion and Water Battle, Pirates Parade, Pub Crawl for adults, children’s costume contest.
