LARGO – With groundbreaking scheduled during 2008 for renovation of the former Crossroads Mall, an adjoining project is also nearing start-up.

City Manager Norton “Mac” Craig told commissioners last week that Pinch-A-Penny’s site plan for a 45,000-square-foot corporate headquarters was scheduled for review by the city staff March 5.

This is the first part of a three-phase project that also will include two warehouse facilities, one 200,000 square feet in size, the other 150,000 square feet.
