Explorer Academy accepting registrations
LARGO – Pinellas County Sheriff’s Explorer Post 900 will conduct its third annual Explorer Academy June 16-20, 7:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. The academy provides an opportunity to learn about law enforcement. Application deadline is May 23. Registration fee is $25.

Youth group plans auction
LARGO – The Youth Group of St. Paul United Methodist Church will have an auction on Saturday, April 12, 6 p.m., to help pay for materials for mission trips, retreats, scholarships and other events. A yard sale also is slated for between 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Items can be donated to the church at 1199 Highland Ave. Call 584-8165.

Health fair set on April 29
LARGO – The North County Coalition is having a health fair on Tuesday, April 29, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Rainbow Village, 14320 Adams Circle. The free event will offer eye exams, dental needs, physicals, blood pressure checks, hearing, and other health related items. Food, games and prizes will be offered. Call 595-1684.
