Recycling fundraiser helps school
Article published on Thursday, Jan. 17, 2008
PINELLAS PARK – Students and staff of First Baptist Preschool are participating in the Funding Factory Recycling Program by accepting empty laser and inkjet printer cartridges and used cell phones.

Money earned will help finance preschool programs.

Companies may participate free of charge in the program’s business support option. Funding Factory will send each supporting business free, postage-paid shipping boxes for sending cartridges and cell phones.

Funding Factory is the largest fundraising-through-recycling program for educational and nonprofit groups in the contiguous United States. Since 1997, it has been supplying participants with free equipment and cash in exchange for used printer cartridges and cell phones.

Business and individual supporters also can drop off or mail cartridges and cell phones to the church at 5495 Park Blvd., Pinellas Park, FL 33781.
