City kicks off annual holiday events

PINELLAS PARK – The city launched the Holiday season this week with the fifth annual Holiday in the Park festivities and the annual Holiday Parade on Saturday, Dec. 8.
Holiday in the Park began Dec. 6 and concludes on Dec. 9 at Town Square Plaza Park.
On Dec. 7 the Rockin’ Under the Stars Oldies concert with “Delusions of Grandeur” and “Let It Be,” the ultimate Beatles tribute, from 6 to 10 p.m.
On Dec. 8 with Santa and the gang will join choral groups and bands.
The 35th annual Holiday Parade begins at 6 p.m. and will feature more than 120 entries including marching bands, floats, clowns and equestrian units.
