Home-invasion robbery reported in Seminole

SEMINOLE – Pinellas County Sheriff’s detectives are investigating a home-invasion robbery that took place just before 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 10, at a private residence located at 10881 61st Ave. N. in the unincorporated area of Seminole.

According to detectives, the suspects are believed to have entered the home through an open garage door. Once inside the suspect’s demanded cash from a 50-year-old female victim who was babysitting her 2-year-old grandson. The victim surrendered an undisclosed amount of cash after which the suspects fled from the scene. No injuries were reported.

The suspects are described as two white males who were last seen wearing dark clothing. Both suspects reportedly wore masks during the robbery and one of them was armed with a handgun.
