American Legion Post 252 seeks items for troops overseas

SEMINOLE – American Legion Post 252 is seeking donations of various items to send to U.S. troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Among the items being collected are candy, cookies, microwave popcorn, peanut butter, cheese crackers, disposable cameras, playing cards, Q-tips, ladies hygiene items, stationary, canned meats, small canned fruits, gallon zip-lock bags and hand-held games.
The collection will take place through Sunday, June 22.
Post 252 is located on Park Boulevard one block west of 113th Street.
